When you only want to use corosync, you do not need to install openais.
Config: /etc/corosync/corosync.conf
init: /etc/init.d/corosync
Beware: /etc/defaults/corosync (!)

If you want to use dlm, ocfs2, clvm you also would need openais. But I think 
these programs will not run in debian at at the moment anyway, you could leave 
openais out.
