If I understood you correctly, in my case of non RH cluster I should disregard 
ocfs2-tools complains regarding absence of libdlm/libcman and just compile and 
install it?

Is this true???

ocfs2-tools needs libdlm/libcman only if you want to build the
integration layer between OCFS2 and RH Cluster.
