Thanks for the compliment.  Yes, the current implementation is limited 
to two rings.  The limit was hardcoded about 6-7 years ago and to keep 
binary compatibility, we have never changed it.  At some time we will 
break onwire compat to deal with this issue and many others.

I'd recommend bonding in general to solve network redundancy for the 
moment.

Regarding the version of the software, 1.2.0 has several bugs.  I'd 
recommend getting the latest up to date version.
