  See my comment for the bug - this seems to happen within ConnectTheDots, and 
it seems to be true both in the 22X branch and svn Head - I'm not sure I 
really understand what is happening, pointers within a vector are deleted 
inside BeginModify() and again at the end of ConnectTheDots(), but I've never 
touched that part of the code.
