Regarding the OB logo, my own feeling is that I'd welcome a better logo. Changing the logo is a big deal though, and so it'll need to be pretty good for the project to approve it. You could create a page on the wiki with various attempts, and solicit feedback. I'm not very arty, but I think that the Avogadro guys have quite a good logo - like I said, they had the KDE art team design this for them. Check out Inkscape for vector drawing by the way, if you haven't already... I'm still keen on WLN. I don't really know anything about the format, but even if OB could support it to some limited extent that would be cool.
