Great news, indeed, and it happens with perfect timing for me. I'm actually finalizing some changes I made to the atom.cc code for typing hydrogen bonds. I'm finishing to write the test code (in Python) and I was thinking to send it as a patch directly to Geoff, unless a better more "dev-kosher" way is advised. I'm traveling at the moment, but I plan to send everything by tomorrow mourning (PST).

I'd like to suggest official conda channel (anaconda.org<http://anaconda.org>). If you haven't tried it yet then I can point you to my channel [http://anaconda.org/mwojcikowski/openbabel] or Patric's [https://anaconda.org/patrickfuller/openbabel]. I can help with that if you need any help. As for the features that I would like to see in final 2.4 is the mol2 comments support, which is discussed in a separate thread here. I think I will manage to fit the schedule on that. Another thing that need some polishing is PHP bindings. I haven't used them for a while, at least in development. Does anybody use them? I've seen them mentioned on the list once. They also lack some kind of automated testing, and tutorial for "BaPHPel". ---- Pozdrawiam, | Best regards, Maciek Wójcikowski mac...@wojcikowski.pl<mailto:mac...@wojcikowski.pl> 2015-12-14 22:07 GMT+01:00 Geoffrey Hutchison <geo...@pitt.edu<mailto:geo...@pitt.edu>>: Dear everyone, The 2.4 release was long-delayed, in part due to other (job-related) obligations, but I’d like to get a push and some planning. I’m proposing the following schedule for the 2.4 release: - 31 January 2016 - Create 2.4 “release branch” (i.e., only critical bug-fixes, documentation, etc. will be merged) - 15 February 2016 - Target Date That gives us several weeks to incorporate any remaining changes, e.g.: - New EEM charge model from J. Cheminf. (patch submitted, pending revision) - New Distance Geometry coordinate creation (partially incorporated - needs stereochemistry fixes) Please let me know if there are particular patches, features, and/or bugs to target. My goal is that we can begin to target a ~6 month schedule to release new major versions (2.5, 2.6, 2.7, etc.) Thoughts? Suggestions? -Geoff ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ OpenBabel-Devel mailing list OpenBabel-Devel@lists.sourceforge.net<mailto:OpenBabel-Devel@lists.sourceforge.net> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openbabel-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ OpenBabel-Devel mailing list OpenBabel-Devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openbabel-devel
