Hello Vinay,
The best thing to do regarding any issues which have not been quickly dealt
with is to file a bug. That's really the only way to guarantee that a
particular issue will be dealt with before the next release. I know you've
provided a test case and described the problem already, but if you create a
SourceForge account and file a bug you will be updated automatically when
the bug is being fixed.
