Is there a way to get the atomic type(symbol C for Carbon, N for Nitrogen
etc..) without the extra information?
When list the atom types such as C(carbon), N(nitrogen)...the atom types
display C3, C2, O2, HC etc.
Any reason why this is or what it means?

I looked in the atomtype.txt file to see if i can make some sense to what
they represent, but no luck.

Thanks,

Andi
