Hi there OpenBabel community,

I tried to install openbabel locally with java language bindings following the
procedure on his page:

http://openbabel.org/docs/dev/Installation/install.html#requirements

Doing so yields the following error:

-- Java bindings will be compiled
CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set
to NOTFOUND.
Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the CMake
files:
JAVA_AWT_LIBRARY (ADVANCED)
linked by target "bindings_java" in directory
/home/aklenner/workspace/openBabel/openbabel-2.3.1/scripts
JAVA_JVM_LIBRARY (ADVANCED)
linked by target "bindings_java" in directory
/home/aklenner/workspace/openBabel/openbabel-2.3.1/scripts

I don't understand this error, I didn't know I had to explicitly define paths
for awt and jvm, classpathes for java_home are set on my system, though.

Maybe you can point me in the direction to solve this error?

Cheers and Thanks in advance,

Alex
