Regarding using a C# GUI, copy all of the dlls and obfs from the
OpenBabel GUI installation into the same folder as your example.exe
(typically bin/Debug or so), and see what happens.

Regarding using VBA, I haven't done this. I tried Excel before, but no dice.

If you are just starting programming, the easiest way to use OB is
from Python (IMO).
