Tim, what you are trying to do is indeed valid, however, the 
pre-configured Jetty bundle has been designed to be "CFML friendly" to 
make it easy for the vast majority of users.

So i would advise that you do NOT use the preconfiged Jetty bundle for 
your requirements, or alternatively, simply package them up in a JAR 
file (a ZIP file renamed .jar) and pop it in the /lib/openbd/ folder if 
you really want to continue with the present bundle.

J2EE can be a blessing and a curse at the same time; there is not one 
configuration that suites everyones requirements, so we have to go with 
the majority.
