Thanks for the cool link. I'll look into this while hopefully getting
access to be read by openbd.  sounds like this is the way to go for
the longevity of my web applications. i dont' have time now to learn a
new tool and migrate db/web code -- unless you want to offer to do
this as a charity case??? (laugh)

anyway - an update on the issue --  openbd has just shown that it can
see my acess2k data source, but now it can't verify or open a query
against it.  so, sounds like i'm making some progress on this
task .... hmmm

if you're wondering why i'm stuck on access?  i don't have time to
properly migrate, learn a new tool, etc..

I need my existing website up so that i can make some money to HIRE AN
IT GUY to do all this other stuff or hire a nanny so i can do it
properly. ;-)
