We'd need a lot more details to even begin to address it, but I personally have had zero problems with OpenBD and I'm having trouble imagining a scenario when OpenBD--which is simply a Java web application after all--would bring your web server down.

What version of OpenBD are you using? What OS are you using? What web server? What servlet container? How are you connecting your web server to your servlet conatiner? What specifically happened? Any relevant log file info you can share?

Other questions I would have would be server RAM, number of requests, your servlet container's memory settings, etc. -- with more details we can certainly help you get to the bottom of it.

First thing I'd check is the memory settings. Tomcat, for example, has very low memory settings out of the box and those pretty much have to be adjusted to get things running well.

Let us know what you can share and we'll help as much as we can.
