The biggest question: is the code for Cartweaver encrypted? If it is, then unfortunately it won't work. If it isn't, then it's highly likely it will work fine.
You might see if they have any information about specific ColdFusion 8 features that are required, or do they have a demo you can fire up on OpenBD before you purchase it?
