Hi, It appears that the current version of mail.jar that is included in the openbd war file breaks being able to set the mail host in message-id within a mail header.
Having the incorrect mail host can cause mails to be tagged a spam. This issue was resolved by new atlanta and was tagged as bug NA#3054. As specified in the bug report the fix relies on the mail.jar package being at least at version 1.4.1. Seems like the mail.jar which is bundled in the openbd.war file is older. The correct behavious is that the domain name used in the message-id can be set in the bluedragon.xml config file. To do so find the <cfmail> section and insert the <domain> directive. e.g. : ========================================= <cfmail> <domain>my.hostname.com</domain> </cfmail> ========================================= I have gotten the above to work again by downloading the latest java mail api from sun, and swapping the mail.jar file in the download with the one in the blue dragon WEB-INF/lib folder. Even so my mails are no longer tagged as spam by hotmail, are there any known issues with just dropping in a new mail.jar file? I also don't think the <domain> tag is mentioned anywhere in the open bluedragon docs, but it definatley exists. cheers Marcel Here are some links relevant to this discussion: The source of the problem.
