I am doing some tests, comparing charts between cfusion, railo and
openbd. Simple charts seem to work great in all three. It seems that
openbd and Railo don't really support charting more than 1 chart
series? When I chart two chart series in Adobe CF it compares the two
series side by side. But in railo/openbd it just list all the items
together as if it were one series. But I haven't done a whole lot
with charting before so maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'm looking for
some tips, or confirmation that this is just the way it works. Are
there plans to add some more features to charting to make it more
compatible with Adobe CF?

Here is my code:
<cfchart title="Rainfall Amounts">
 <cfchartseries type="bar" colorlist="3366FF,FF3399,green,FF6600">
  <cfchartdata item="winter" value="30">
  <cfchartdata item="spring" value="36">
  <cfchartdata item="summer" value="40">
  <cfchartdata item="autumn" value="33">
 </cfchartseries>

 <cfchartseries type="bar" colorlist="red,green,blue,black">
   <cfchartdata item="winter2" value="25">
   <cfchartdata item="spring2" value="18">
   <cfchartdata item="summer2" value="35">
   <cfchartdata item="autumn2" value="29">
 </cfchartseries>
</cfchart>

Here is what it produces in Adobe CF:
