You don't by any chance have another machine handy that you could try this on do you? Wondering if something might be up with Java on your Mac.
I think you said you're using the ready2run version, so just to clarify, this means you're using Jetty's built-in web server; OpenBD itself doesn't have a web server. (I know, nitpicky, but particularly since all the Java stuff is new to a lot of CFML developers using OpenBD, I like to clarify things as much as possible as they come up.)
As for logs, and bear in mind I'm not that familiar with Jetty, but if you start things from the command line/terminal you can just watch the app as it runs, or check jetty's logs directory and you should see a request.log file with the date prepended to the file name.
You can also check OpenBD's logs in {jetty-directory}/webapps/openbd/WEB-INF/bluedragon/work/bluedragon.log
Beyond that, you can also check the Mac's system logs to see if something's happening at that level.
And if all else fails, if this is fairly repeatable and you can share your code, feel free to send it to me off-list and I'll run it on my machine to see if I run into the same issue.
One way or another we'll get this sorted out. -- Matthew Woodward [email protected] http://www.mattwoodward.com/blogPlease do not send me proprietary file formats such as Word, PowerPoint, etc. as attachments.
