Sounds to me like CPanel may have overwritten the apache configuration directives that were installed by the installer.
This URL states how to connect Apache to Tomcat manually: http://wiki.openbluedragon.org/wiki/index.php/Single_Instance_Install#The_Apache_Connector:_mod_jk However, my guess is that the system already has the mod_jk connector installed on it - all that really needs to happen is that the Apache directives need to be added again - this time in a way that CPanel won't overwrite them. I've worked with a couple control panels in my time that completely re-wrote the httpd.conf file every time the control panel needed to make a change - perhaps CPanel is one of those. Usually in those cases, the panel provides for a way to add custom directives via it's web-based interface. If I were Bruno, I'd poke around the CPanel and see if it gave me a way to add custom directives. If so, then you should just need to re-add the mod_jk directives (mentioned in the URL above), restart apache, and be done with it. Let us know how it goes. Also, if you could report back where you add it in CPanel, it may help someone else in the community if they encounter this issue in CPanel. So there's something up with your Apache configuration. -- Matthew Woodward [email protected] http://www.mattwoodward.com/blog Please do not send me proprietary file formats such as Word, PowerPoint, etc. as attachments. http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/no-word-attachments.html --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en official site @ http://www.openbluedragon.org/ !! save a network - trim replies before posting !! -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
