Perhaps /webapps/ is "too high up the tree", or "too close to the root", depending on how you think about directories ;-)
On my setup, the webapps directory is the place where all your Tomcat J2EE webapps are installed, including openbd. My openbd install was configured so that any files placed under the ...tomcat/webapps/openbd/ directory would be parsed as ColdFusion. It appears as though your ColdFusion files (be they Fusebox, MachII, ColdSpring, or your own code) have been placed beyond the reach of openbd. This would be why the server is just sending the raw files to your browser. Alan K.
