Yep, but this is a test not reality ;-)
In reality I need to get the records and handle the case (in a callback
handler) of displaying an error message in the event of an error OR changing
the innerHTML of a DIV if there was no error.
Of course perhaps you were trying to demonstrate something other than some
shorter JS code than what I plucked off some example page?? ;-)
