Hi Vince, Thanks I actually did try that initially but it didn't work. It did get me thinking however.
My in my cfc's I was using: <cfproperty name="topSpeed" type="numeric" default="300" /> Swapping to: <cfset variables.topSpeed = 300 /> Works fine.
