I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences (good or bad)
running OpenBD on top of the openjdk (http://openjdk.java.net/). I am
considering that jdk because of some of the features that the JVM is
incorporating with regards to non-java languages running on the JVM
(lisp and prolog, for instance).

On the jetty download page, it only lists JVM's from SUN, IBM and BEA
jrocket.

I am very interested in the capability of being able to use
dynamically typed languages, and it looks like the openjdk is working
at integrating very good support for these. (http://java.sun.com/
developer/technicalArticles/DynTypeLang/index.html).
