This is something we have been looking into.
Due to the wonderful license choice of OpenBD; I have been looking at
bundling ImageMagick as part of the distribution. I have redesigned
the plugin manager to allow me to drop this in.
ImageMagick is really the standard when it comes to image processing;
its what Flickr uses when resizing and manipulating their images.
I'm using ImageMagick already with OpenBD, but i am simply using
CFEXECUTE to trigger it; but i have been looking around with the API
directly into their libraries, so removing the overhead to spawn a new
executable.
