Good point. We've been pretty careful to remove any specific implementation
details from the spec, and there's no guarantee people will consider ORM
core to CFML in 2011 either. We'll have to wait and see.

Interesting thing to me is that the discussions around CFML as a language
are actually language + framework, since ORM isn't a language feature but a
framework/platform feature. There's extreme blurring of these lines in the
CFML world and always has been.

I'll spare everyone the gory details and just say that personally I don't
see how it would happen at this late stage. We've had discussions about
bumping things by a year to better be in "off years" for CF releases but
we'll see where that goes.
