We've been pretty careful to remove any specific implementation details from the spec, and there's no guarantee people will consider ORM core to CFML in 2011 either. We'll have to wait and see. Interesting thing to me is that the discussions around CFML as a language are actually language + framework, since ORM isn't a language feature but a framework/platform feature.
