I'm at work, at a datacenter, but I'm actually RDP'd do a server I have hosted here that has nothing to do with my job. I'm ok to work on my own projects as long as I have downtime. I'm in complete control of the server, permissions, etc. and basically the only person who can access it.
Permissions are set as needed, and as I said, I had multilpe CFFILE operations doing the same thing in the same document. When I say I copied over code from the backup, I'm actually referring to that particular 5 lines of code, not the entire document. I opened up the current document, and the related backup (both called newphoto.cfm), copied to clipboard the identical code, deleted the 'bad' code, and replaced it with the 5 lines of code from the backup. Frankly, both the current newphoto.cfm and the backup newphoto.cfm are identical. Same amount of characters, same amount of lines, etc. So if it were a permissions issue, other elements in the document would have had problems. It's like I literally had to cut out the bad code, save the document, then paste it back in. Caching problem maybe?
