I posted a patch to add J2EE JTA transaction support to OpenBD. If you are using J2EE datasources it allows you to extend the same transaction around your cfqueries and EJBs (or other J2EE components like Seam and JPA). It adds an attribute to control the transaction behavior when already enrolled in a transaction or not similar to the @TransactionAttribute annotation for EJBs.
