Can you confirm that stuff like this will work:

doSomething( { a = 42 }, [ 1. 2, 3 ] );

(I ask because it didn't work in CF8 and Adobe fixed it in CF9 - and
it does work in Railo)

Given this level of support, I may update FW/1 and drop CFMX7/CF8
support (so FW/1 will require OpenBD nightly, Railo 3.1.x or CF9)
