Hello,
I have been googling for a little while but I'm not sure I'm using the
right key words.

I have a public (pub.pem) & private (pri.pem) key(s) which were
generated using openssl. With these two keys I would like to create a
file using cffile and then use a function to sign the file and create
a signature file, so that it can be verified with the public key using
openssl.

I was wondering if there was anything in OpenBD that would help be
sign the file using the private key without having to call cfexecute
with all of the params. I looked a little at the java side but it
appears that the pem format is not supported by java.

Eventually what I really want to is to sign the XML file using SAML.

Thanks,
Charlie
