Let's say the catalog built for members is called "member_catalog" There is a copy of this catalog on each webserver. On the master catalog server, every ten minutes, it builds a new catalog called "master_member_catalog". Once completed, it copies it over to each webserver. Once copied, delete the old "member_catalog" and then rename the new copy of "master_member_catalog" as "member_catalog"
