Thanks.

I think this is gonna end up being an IIS issue.

I started the server using a pre-configured one with Win Server 2008
and SQL Server Express.
Then downloaded the Windows installer from the open bd download page
and installed as if it were on a machine in the room with me.
Accepted the defaults for port and IIS7 Connector.

If I'm reading this right, it installed Apache & Tomcat, which I
presume is how it is serving the bd admin stuff.

The test files are super-simple hello world stuff. All in the same
folder.
Made same file with html & cfm extensions ... html comes up OK, (with
cfoutput tags ignored), cfm gives 404 error.

On Server '03 and before, there was a check box for something like
"Allow Script Execution" for each site in IIS. Can't find that now.
(Not at all familiar with Server08 or IIS7)

My guess is IIS doesn't know of a handler for .cfm.

Or it could be some sort of permissions on the folder. I do not have
the site in the default inetpub/wwwroot folder (or even on that
drive). But I did try duplicating the permissions for IIS_IUSR that I
found on the wwwroot folder - no joy.

Again... thanks for any/all help.
