I'm gonna raise a bug in the CF bugbase. And watch it sit there
festering for a coupla years ;-)
I'm usually a big compatibility junkie for the CFML engines, but in this
case it seems insane to model this behavior. Plus the fix (using "text"
instead) seems pretty easy to me.
Thanks for filing the bug -- but sure to file it under CF9 so it's
visiable to the public -- otherwise it gets swallowed up. Feel free to
report the bug number back to the list for future Googling. And you're
right, Adobe has reason to fix this issue however it's better to raise
it and complain then not raise it and still complain.
