I'm concluding that we just needed more than the 640 that was crashing
us earlier.
I forced the GC using your code, and 15 minutes later:
JVM - Free Memory 288375712
JVM - Max Memory 1067581440
JVM - Total Memory 1067581440
JVM - Unallocated Memory 0
JVM - Used Memory 779205728
I'll close the issue & bump the thread if I find out anything new.
