Hi Alex, Since you mentioned Razuna I want to mention that our desktop application is more a means of interacting with the "main server" (Razuna) instead of using the browser.
We also have an additional feature that we call "link to folder". In other words one can give the full path to a folder and Razuna will create thumbnails from the original asset and link to it. Like that we can give "some sort" of file system integration. I also would love a pure file system integration. did you create a ticket over at the OpenBD tracker for your feature request?
