No problems. No, OpenBD does not compile to Java code.
I guess you have to look at the application. But if you are in an environment where you don't trust your customers, then you may not want to be selling code in the first place. Your license should protect you from them stealing your IPR.
I know what you are going through ... and it is not an easy decision, but you have to ask yourself what it is you are really protecting against if they see your source code.
