well, there might be reasons for this. I used caucho Quercus Open Source PHP stuff in one project where I needed a pdf to get generated which I never got to work as I wanted with the cfdocument. For this to kick in I needed to append some sections in the web .xml
I'm not 100% sure if this was the solution back then (Alan might have to correct me) but I have a folder shadow which contains in my case an web folder wich finally contains "my" web.xml As said I'm not 100% sure this was where it was supposed to be placed but it has been discussed here some months back and Alan came up with a solution for it back then. /Mats/ On Thu, Nov 17, 2011 at 6:33 AM, nitish pandey <[email protected]>wrote: > What would change in the interim and why would you want to avoid that > being recorded? > > > 2011/11/17 Shane McMurray <[email protected]> > >> Is there a way to turn off the web.xml file being overwritten in an app >> on the ODB Desktop when you stop and restart the server? >> >> Thanks. >> >> -- >> official tag/function reference: http://openbd.org/manual/ >> mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en >> > > > > -- > -Nitish > "Faith is a free Option" > http://www.forcesofindia.com/profiles/np > > -- > official tag/function reference: http://openbd.org/manual/ > mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en > -- official tag/function reference: http://openbd.org/manual/ mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en
