Well, I choose to use a windows 2008 server because I have next to no unix experience. Having no experience with setting up my own environment, no linux experience, and knowing very little about openbd seemed like a lot to learn at one time. A sales rep also suggested that I just stick with windows. If I can just get the environment setup I think I will be ok. I'll check for to see if I have cyqwin running anywhere.
