We throw some pretty massive amounts of data at it for some applications and it holds up quite well. And you can pretty easily have it pull records page-by-page to keep things light. The days of worrying about avoiding javascript are long since dead. If you need that kind of functionality datatables works great. Now of course if you need something simpler a plain table or something like the table sorter plugin (that doesn't have as much functionality as datatables but lets you sort on columns at least) might do the trick, so all about using the right tool for the job and not using *unnecessary* javascript. -- Matthew Woodward [email protected] http://blog.mattwoodward.com identi.ca / Twitter: @mpwoodward Please do not send me proprietary file formats such as Word, PowerPoint, etc. as attachments. http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/no-word-attachments.html -- online documentation: http://openbd.org/manual/ google+ hints/tips: https://plus.google.com/115990347459711259462 http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en
