Class loader conflicts with the jaxb library that ColdFusion uses. I think with CF10 this issue will be resolved though. This though, probably has no issue with OpenBD though. I just never tried using it.
The WordprocessingML is a beast that makes me cry. From what I've seen, even with the Open XML SDK or DOCX4Java API, it's still hugely complicated.
