I don't think that's the issue -- I use ColdSpring on nearly all my
projects and it doesn't throw errors for me. Are you sure you don't have a
CFML-style comment in there with three dashes instead of two? (<!--- vs.
<!-- ) I've definitely seen that error message when I accidentally do that.

I don't use Fusebox but I know Nitai does quite heavily so maybe he can
comment.

I use Mach-II and ColdSpring on nearly all my projects without any issues
whatsoever.
