I was referring to 1) code on the server, which takes the data as an
input value - then outputs a traditional jpg, gif or png image - being a
chart that's exclusive to the data provided...
... as opposed to 2) visuals which are rendered by browser plugins
(flash, silverlight,java) or 3) images that are rendered via client side
scripts like javascript and/or html5 canvas drawing, or 4) charts that
are drawn with colored dom block stacking or stretching (table cells
and/or divs which use the data dimensionally).
