I am wondering if anyone has encountered this error when running a query in OpenBD. It doesn't look OpenBD is the actual culprit but I am asking here since it is something in the stack:
General SQL Error; Database reported: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Invalid string or buffer length on c://programFiles... I am getting this on my new dev setup I am trying to get going. It is running OpenBD 2.0 on windows using the MySQL ODBC 5.1 driver. The exact same code/query runs fine on the Linux-based production server. I can copy the query SQL from the error output and run it in MySQL workbench and it works fine as well. So it seems like it is the ODBC driver. Is anyone aware of any issues with the driver? The SQL is fairly long and I wonder if that is the problem. Is the Connector/J a better option? The instructions on setting that up are a unclear to me.
