You are able to keep your branding with Paypal. It all depends on the type of account that you have. If your account is their Advanced or Pro accounts (https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/merchant), then you are able to keep them on your site and just interact with Paypal through their API. I have a couple of sites running this way with no issues. I'm not sure about the chained payments, but from what their site described, you should be able to do that through the API as well.
