Hi Matt. I'm just arriving at Open BD. I'll probably have other things to whine about later, but here's what I see today.... (and this is kinda trivial)
I have upwards of 50 scheduled tasks running 5 days a week. For management purposes, I keep their particulars in a db table and reapply via the api as needed. Now that I think about it, I'm sure I did that for 2 reasons... 1) the task managment interface on BD JX7 is kinda bad if you have more than a few tasks, and, more importanly, 2) so I could sort them chronologically... usually to find a good slot for a new one. The present task list is way better than the old one. At least now I can CTRL-F and find a task by name. But if I could sort by start time, I could eliminate that db table and go back to single-step task managment. ...you asked! Have a great day! c On Sunday, July 29, 2012 4:02:41 PM UTC-5, Matt Woodward wrote: > > I'm working on an overhaul of the OpenBD admin console and "API" (in > quotes because I fully realize the term API can only be applied loosely to > what's there now), and wanted to get people's feedback on a couple of > things. > > First, will it impact anyone significantly if the structure of the code > changes substantially?
