What I meant to say - to *everyone* - is that even if OpenBD is only supposedly checking for *the exact same object*, then there's still a bug: as you allude to, it should not match the duplicated object. CF will match equivalent objects (ie: all these tests "pass" on CF). Railo does not support anything other than strings for the value to find. I've - at their behest <https://groups.google.com/group/railo/msg/c92e779ebea41081> - raised a ticket regarding extending this to support complex objects too (as per CF).
