The only time you would need to configure anything when using the installers is
when you use the "localhost" domain. Use anything else, and you should be fine.
I believe we've already talked about this though...

Hope this helps,
Jordan

I've tried the installer and it does not work like CF10 installation does. I'm
sure there is some hacking to be done to make it work.

When you install the CF10 trial/developer edition it just works straight way. I
put a webpage up to my IIS website and the CFML code executes perfectly. This
does not happen straight after an OpenBD installation.

Well, here Jordan has to chime in since he's the one that created the
Installers,,, but from what I've seen in earlier post here on this list,
there's no black magic to get the OpenBD up and running with IIS7
The Installer for OpenBD 2.0.2 for Windows is OK with IIS7

hi

It can be made to work with IIS7, but I tried giving it a go and it was too
complex for me. I just want a smooth installation like when you install Adobe's
CF10 with IIS websites.

Not a big fan of Windows so haven't tried it my self but I'm 99.9% sure it
works fine with IIS7
