OK. Here is a "Definitive Guide to Running CFML on Tomcat" by Matt Woodward.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1emioVKgoeR_HkpFF-fd6MLrqTu-HxSLNmApY4lOSoH4/edit

It covers OpenBD as well as Railo and AdobeCF on Windows and Linux. It covers in detail installing the three engines (including installing all three simultaneously on the same machine) and configuring Tomcat, Apache, etc to achieve URLS including virtual hosts in both Tomcat and Apache and setting up proxying so you can use Apache as your front end. Installing on OSX is basically similar to Linux except that the Apache file structure and the way Apache handles virtual hosts is more similar the Windows.

It would be great to see something like this linked from the OpenDB site or adapted and posted to the OpenBD site.

The instructions Matt Woodward had created on OpenBD Cookbook were really clear and helpful and if I recall correctly, covered Windows, OSX and Linux so they were really useful. It would be nice to see them back.

Here are my copies I saved when I setup OpenBD on my server. I used the Java instructions that are attached instead of the ones listed in the file. Enjoy. On 1/21/2013 11:37 PM, Magnus wrote:
