You know, looking around I'm a bit confused too.
The website mentions CFMLBug (And a Click here to get started link, with no 
info on how to use it.)

I haven't tried the deployed version of 3.0, just desktop.
The desktop version has a checkbox for enabling the debugger, but the 
console shows that the JAR file is missing (Confirmed in the plugins 
folder) and I can't find a download link for it on the site either.

Maybe someone forgot to package it up in the release files?

Part for that I usually add cfdump var and use that, but the actual 
debugger that is touted on the site would be nifty to try out.

Or if you just need to know the value of the variable, just output it and 
load the page?
