Awhile ago I setup a couple different versions of BD and OpenBD on a win 7 pc with the intention of being able to share the same webroot across the different app servers using different ports. Everything worked as planned except spending WAY too much time to get jetty to start as a service and trying to get jetty to use the same htdocs web root folder (C:\htdocs instead of C:\Jetty-OpenBD\webapps\openbd) as the other BD versions Though there were sevaral posts from people trying to do the same thing- some even claiming success. I fought with this way too long and eventually just gave up. I tried everything including symlinks but I never could get it to work right. So now I'm back at it again and looking for advise before blazing back in.. I'm not even really sure if I used desktop or R2R distribution or what. Heres what I've got Open BlueDragon Product Version 2,0,2 Open BlueDragon Build Date 2012-01-01 10:14:17 GMT Operating System Windows 7 x86 (6.1) Application Server jetty/7.5.4.v20111024 Java Virtual Machine Oracle Corporation 1.7.0_21 (JVM Properties<http://localhost:8082/bluedragon/administrator/settings/jvmproperties.cfm> ) With a modifyable web root in mind, What should I do first (start over with updated and which OpenBD download? ) and can anyone point me to a clearer way of how to do it? Thanks!
