Went thru a couple of iterations of trying to make it work. I get a
file, i can see data in the file, but no program opens the file. i am
going to file it in a bug report.

I get a file. But I can't open it with OpenOffice or Excel regardless
of using .csv or .xls extentions. If I use format="html" I still get
the same file format.
when I open it in notepad, there is plenty of data there. Legible and
illegible.
