Nevermind. I was able to figure this out last night. It appears you should 
use the /etc/pki/tls/ directory for the SSL keys like the guide says and 
for my setup I used the local ip address of the box for the server name. 
Now I just need to figure out the best way to force apache/jetty to use 
https.
